Miss Faith

I wake up every day excited to come back to Montessori Children’s Garden. I love how MCG is its own tightknit community with the absolute best staff. There is an immaculate amount of respect for one another and everyone would go the distance to help. The classes are full of smiles, laughter, and the most pure hearted children. It’s a privilege to watch them grow and be there every step of the way.

My favorite part of the day is being able to observe a child working. Montessori philosophy encourages independence and self motivation while allowing the child to grow at their own pace. It’s magical observing a child focusing on their work and being able to see the spark when it hits them, “they did it!”. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing a child hurry over to let you know they are proud of themselves and what they accomplished.

One of my favorite MCG memories was during the few weeks where one of my students, who has been working on her ‘f’ sounds, called me “Miss Babe” instead of “Miss Faith”. We even introduced a "swaddle the baby" work and the same student said “Miss Babe that’s you!”. These kids have me cracking up with laughter everyday.

"The staff is what makes this school so unique - all the teachers are so caring and always keep me updated on the girls' progress and activities at school. "
