Miss Malita

What I like about working at MCG is the sense of community we have amongst the teachers and families. I feel like we all pitch in and help each other out as a team because we all know it’s for the good of the children. When you have children that start with us as toddlers and are with the same group of kids for 3-4 years, it's a great bond that the children create with their teachers and each other.

Our families are in it for the long haul. They understand the benefits of a Montessori foundation and how a child who is independent and curious at an early age is one that is set up for success in the future.

When I look at our children, the first word that comes to mind is "growth." They are constantly learning and growing, from learning how to zip their own coats in the toddler room, to working on a map of Africa in the 3-6 room. We are so big on fostering independence and I think you can definitely see that in them, even at home. They want to be productive members of their classrooms and homes, which is going to catapult them to become productive members of society as adults.

"Thank you, Miss Malita! We love your patience, how kind you are and for working so hard with us!"
